
Whitney Houston has died at age 48, her publicist confirmed to the Associated Press on Saturday, February 10.
Publicist Kristen Foster said that the singer had died, but the cause and the location of her death were unclear.

Supermodel Gisele Bundchen already has quarterback Tom Brady, son Benjamin and the honor of being the highest-paid model in the world, but now she’s got her eye on something else — the Super Bowl.
In anticipation of the Super Bowl game between the New York Giants and the New England Patriots, The former Victoria Secret supermodel and wife of New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, reportedly asked friends and family to pray for her hubbie’s big game on Sunday, February 5.
According to the Associated Press, The New York Post published what they called a “disgustingly sappy” personal email purportedly written by Bundchen which read, “I feel Tommy really needs our prayer, our support and love at this time… So I kindly ask all of you to join me on this positive chain and pray for him, so he can feel confident, healthy and strong. Sandra Bullock and George Clooney end up floating through space in their upcoming 3D thriller “Gravity,” but what the actress was really afraid of was going without makeup for the film.
In the flick, which is directed by Alfonso Cuaron, Bullock plays a survivor of a botched space mission to repair the Hubble telescope. Her character tries to return to Earth and reunite with her daughter. She wounds up stranded in space, tethered to a veteran astronaut (Clooney), when their shuttle is destroyed.
“God help us all when my face comes rushing at you with no makeup on. I’m going to apologize now, but Alfonso, in a brilliant move, said, ‘No makeup,’” Bullock told USA Today recently.
“Our vain little heads are going to be some massive 17-foot image. You are going to see details because it’s shot on this digital film that shows everything. It’s so scary,” Bullock continued. “There are scenes where you say, ‘This is where you have to let go and let God [take over]‘. Gina Carano, a retired mixed martial arts fighter, is ready to “hurt anybody” for her fellow cast members of the new movie “Haywire,” which stars Michael Fassbender, Michael Douglas, Antonio Banderas, Ewan McGregor, Channing Tatum and Bill Paxton.

This is the second and biggest film for Carano, a 29-year-old Texas native, who also appeared on the reboot of the show “American Gladiators. In “Haywire,” a thriller directed by Steven Soderbergh, she plays Mallory Kane, a freelance covert operative who is betrayed by a person who works for her agency and seeks revenge, while assassins are sent to kill her.
McGregor plays Kane’s point man. Fassbender portrays an operative who accompanies Kane on a mission. Tatum also plays an agent. Paxton, formerly of “Big Love” fame,” plays her father, while Douglas and Banderas play her bosses. Read the rest of this entry »
